Who I am

Hi, I’m Brie—a software engineer who brings ideas to life through clean code, thoughtful design, and user-centered experiences. I come from a creative, hands-on background as the founder of a jewelry brand, where I taught myself to build websites, run marketing, and shape memorable customer journeys. That’s where I fell in love with tech—not just the tools, but the power to build things that feel good to use and truly serve people.

What drives me most is the mix of creativity and problem-solving in development. I love the moment when an idea becomes something tangible—something someone can interact with, benefit from, or find joy in. That’s what keeps me coming back to the work.

Today, I build interactive applications using JavaScript, Node.js, React, and API integrations through Resilient Coders. I’ve also worked with freelance clients and developed interactive games, learning how to stay inspired, collaborative, and curious at every turn.

I care deeply about creating technology that’s thoughtful, and grounded in real human needs. I bring empathy, curiosity, and a doer’s mindset to every project. I thrive when the pressure’s on, jump into collaboration with ease, and get energized by turning big ideas into thoughtful, functional products.
